In a variation on the theme of going away for a boys weekend and getting hammered in an East European city, we have come to texas to be the first British crew to complete the Texas Water Safari, a canoe race now in its 44th year.

Absolutely bloody wonderful ..... to finish is amazing, but 48th ex 81 finishers is a testament to the months of effort and great planning. You are all stars.
Since you can justifiably say "been there, seen it, done it!" are you goung to do it again?
Congratulations.
This team is being quite modest. They were one of the TWS favorites! Although most of us greeted them with hesitation as we grimaced at their boat number, we quickly found every member of the GB Challenge team to be spectacular, and we cheered them on at every checkpoint. I believe the highlight of watching them may indeed have been their finish ... as they approached the finish line from the wrong side and the opposite side of the bay.
