The boat is fixed, the crew are as ready we are gonna be and the river is flowing. We headed over to scrutineering at 4pm and spent the rest of the afternoon comparing canoes and canoeing equipment. The course referee gave a spiel and outlined how great the conditions are this year and how there is a good chance for the course record being broken, we shall see. . Our kit looks great, well done Tsunami sport (use them for all your team kit requirements), and the only blemish on the boat came where TC forgot that our boat number was commemorating American Independance and got the sequence wrong. 1776 became 1766 for a short while and now we have quite a scuffed number, still, it won't get us to the finish any quicker. Pasta eaten and off to bed.

Final prep
